Your First Visit

What should I expect during my first visit?
Dr. Stein or Dr. Lerman will spend a considerable amount of time with you, taking a complete patient history and discussing your ailment or injury. They will also learn about the specific lifestyle factors that may be contributing to your problem.

After a thorough physical examination, Dr. Stein or Dr. Lerman may order lab tests, X-rays, a CT scan or an MRI, if deemed appropriate. Once the results of the tests are evaluated, a customized treatment program will be designed for you, which may include at home exercises and lifestyle modifications that will help speed the healing process and keep the problem from recurring.
